Usman Buzdar, the CM Punjab has given the approval to launch the Punjab Rozgar Scheme this month for offering soft loan programs, that are worth Rs.30 billion for the new and already running businesses.
CM Buzdar said that the businesspersons and the entrepreneurs could get up to Rs.10 million loan under the new scheme. He also said that transgender persons could also acquire the easy loan facility, whereas, the government has a finalized plan for the low mark-up to women.
The CM directed the relevant authorities to launch the employment scheme this month. He also said that the provincial government is offering financial ease to the affected businesses amid the coronavirus crisis.

He also said that the Punjab government would be reviewing the plans for further reducing the mark-up. Chief Minister Punjab further mentioned that the young generation would not only be grooming their skills but also would be offering employment.
Previously, in the month of January 2019, the IT Board and Ministry of Punjab of Youth Affairs had introduced a 3-month free E-Rozgar Training Program for the youth. The program is aimed at offering vocational training to the jobless, making them earn their livelihood in an honorable manner.
The twenty-five technical training centers across the province would be offering the training to the aspirants.
