CM Punjab Approves the Expansion of Ring Road, Lahore

The expansion of Ring Road, Lahore has been approved by Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar. This was approved in a meeting of the Lahore Ring Road Authority (LRRA) that took place earlier today.

Between Raiwind Road and Multan Road, Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-III Project will be 8 km long and six-lane wide road. This road will help in easing traffic congestion in Lahore.

Within a year, the Southern Loop-III will be completed under a public-private partnership agreement between LRRA and National Logistics Cell (NLC). It will be signed next week.

Also, CM Punjab has given directives to LRRA to accelerate the groundwork of Lahore Ring Road Southern Loop-IV and begin its construction as soon as possible. The Southern Loop-IV will link Multan Road to Motorway M-3.

With the completion of Southern Loop-IV, the 90 km long Lahore Ring Road project will conclude.
