Usman Buzdar—the CM Punjab has given approval to the motorbike ambulance service for all the districts of Pakistan.
The decision was made during the 20th meeting of the Emergency Council of Punjab, along with the approval to get new ambulances.
The government of Punjab would also be giving special monetary incentives to the person undergoing emergency service training.
The Chief Minister has also ordered to launch the Rescue 1122 at the tehsil level. The meeting pondered on the matter regarding the rescuers, which includes the plans of providing monetary aid and insurance for the rescuers who were deceased during the service. Regarding this, a special committee under the law minister—Raja Basharat would submit final suggestions for the financial and regulatory approvals.
Buzdar said that the new standard operating procedures should be formed for purchasing the new equipment and ambulances for the rescue services in the province. This is to eradicate the unwanted delays in the procurement of the new equipment.
The minister added that the safety code for the construction of the high-rise buildings (vertical buildings should be strictly followed and a new system for transferring the patients safely to the hospitals should be put into practice.
