‘City Islamabad’ App Launches

‘City Islamabad’ app has launched in Islamabad. Islamabad citizens can download this app on their android phones.

According to the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat, “The application is now fully launched on android devices.”

Furthermore, the official said that the app will add comfort to the Islamabad residents as with the help of this app the residents will no longer have to stand in long queues or wait for their turn to register vehicles or apply for licenses.

Also, the DC said that very soon the app will be available on iPhones. Initially many services are available in the application, but it will be further improved with the passage of time and additional features will be added to it.

The app will allow citizens of Islamabad to apply for birth and death certificates. The app will allow the Islamabad residents to avail services that include vehicle registration, weapon licenses, domiciles and driving licenses at their homes via their mobile phones.

The app offers its users to listen to the Islamabad Traffic Police Radio Channel and remain updated about the traffic condition in Islamabad.

In an earlier article, we informed our readers that the Ministry of Information Technology (MoIT), the National Information Technology Board and the Capital Development Authority have joint forces to come up with an App for Islamabad City. The collaboration is with the aim to provide an opportunity for the residents of Islamabad to get aware of traveling spots of their city and thus discover it.
