CIS Launches Free Wi-Fi for Gokina Village Residents

In the year 1996, COMSATS launched its internet services by the name of Comsats Internet Services (CIS). Comsats has introduced many projects being the pioneer in Pakistan of Internet Service Providers. COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) along with CIS are among its most successful projects.
Now CIS launches free Wi-Fi to Gokina Village.

Comsats has witnessed major growth in all the cities ever since after its launch. It has grown contagiously in cities like Peshawar, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujrat, Quetta, Karachi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi.

This time the free wi-fi services are being introduced to Gokina Village. This is a very good initiative of facilitating areas lacking with such provisions.

CIS is among the most versatile internet service providers of Pakistan. It offers services like Wireless broadband, Data Centre Services, Virtual Private Servers, Domain and Web hosting, Search Engine Optimization, Internet-related research facilities, On-Demand broadband, IT training and Networking.

Comsats aims at facilitating all Pakistani areas with internet services especially the rural areas. Comsats has also collaborated with KPITB for the building of a joint venture-Telemedicine center in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

CIS should be encouraged and appreciated for taking this initiative of facilitating rural areas with modern technologies.
