Chinese Players to be a part of Peshawar Zalmi Team

As per the Press Release by Peshawar Zalmi on Friday, the team wants to promote cricket in China and for doing so has decided to include two Chinese Cricketers in the team.

Pakistan Super League (PSL), the third edition which is to start in February next year that is 2018 Jian Li and Yufie Zhang, the Chinese cricketers would be a part of the Zalmi team.

In an event at the Chinese Embassy in the capital city of Pakistan, Javed Afridi, Zalmi’s owner said that the entire team is pleased with the decision and not only that the Peshawar Zalmi is also providing coaching and mentoring services to the cricketers in China and now with this decision the Chinese cricketers would also be getting an international platform for showing their talent and to achieve motivation to get international fame.

Peshawar Zalmi’s Director of cricketing affairs, Muhammad Akram said that the coaching staff of the team would be visiting China for a seminar for further boasting the collaboration with the Chinese board and would then be holding coaching programs for recognizing and training the young Chinese talent.

He also mentioned that under the initiative of “Global Zalmi”, tournaments would be organized and almost twenty-five representations of different clubs across the world would be participating in it. Chinese Zalmi would also be participating in this tournament.

Zhang Chunxiang the ex-Chinese Ambassador for Pakistan was also present during the event.
