A Chinese company plans to produce a film on CPEC project achievements in order to reflect ongoing achievements regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and enhance bilateral and friendly relations between both countries.
The film is named “Flower sisters” which will be produced by Sichuan Chengcheng, a movie culture and media company, the movie will be filmed in Islamabad, Lahore, and Gilgit according to the sources.
The Chinese authority State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television of the People’s Republic of China has approved the project of making the movie on CPEC projects.
The provincial government of Sichuan has also approved the project. The local Pakistani partners for this film will facilitate Chinese company to conduct shooting in different areas of Pakistan and provide them the resources they need to complete the project.
Last month, it was reported that 200 ongoing CPEC projects will be completed by 2030, while both countries have collaborated in the past to conduct international expos in the country to highlight the importance and promote the cause of CPEC around the world, but making a documented film would reach the broader audience locally and globally in order to highlight the significance of CPEC project.
There are not many details about the project yet, nor a deadline mentioned by the Chinese company when the project will be completed, but it will take quite a few months to complete depending on the specifications of the project.
