Yao Jing—Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan has lauded the resolve of the government of Pakistan to remove the menace of corruption and poverty alleviation.
While addressing a ceremony in Islamabad he hoped that the PM Khan would succeed in his plans for placing the country on road to progress and prosperity.
He said that the Chinese government is working in 37 different sectors in Pakistan.
The Chinese Ambassador said that 30 hospitals would be established in the rural areas under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
He said that his country would continue to extend cooperation for eliminating poverty from Pakistan. He added that there is need for focusing on the developmental projects for eradicating the issue of poverty.
He also said that China introduced reforms at large scale for the removal of poverty. He also emphasized the need for paying attention to the infrastructure.
Speaking on the occasion, Kanawal Shauzab—parliamentary secretary for planning, development and reforms said that elimination of poverty is possible via promoting education.
She also said that technical education would have to be provided to the new generation for a bright future.
She further added that the unemployment would be addressed via promoting business activities on the country.
