China’s Yuantong Airline has launched a new Kunming to Karachi air cargo route. According to the Kunming Changshui International Airport, this air cargo route will link the capital of southwest China’s Yunnan Province ‘Kunming City’ with City of Lights, Karachi.
This air cargo route is operated by China’s express giant Yuantong Airlines. It will operate on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. It will mainly transport cross-border e-commerce goods and seafood.
Once the route is open it will ensure that economic and trade exchanges between Pakistan and China are conducted in an efficient and convenient manner.
Karachi is the biggest city of Pakistan and its geographical position has made it the major hub linking Pakistan with Europe, Asia, and Africa. China and Pakistan have now collaborated for years on different ventures and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has strengthened the relations of the two countries.
As for the Yunnan Airport Group, it has 11 cargo routes that cover domestic coastal cities in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, and other countries. It has slowly and gradually become the Southeast Asian aviation logistics distribution center and a cross-border logistics center. The new air cargo route between Kunming to Karachi will be beneficial for both the countries.
