China to provide e-learning facility and smart schools across Pakistan.
Pakistan and China have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for having educational cooperation.
As per the reports of local media on Saturday, the signing ceremony was held at the Foreign Office in the federal capital.
The MoU was signed by the Vice-Chairman of the Chinese International Development Cooperation Agency and the Executive Director Higher Education Commission from Pakistan.
Under the agreement, China would be providing e-learning facility and the setting up of smart schools across Pakistan.
The 3rd round of China-Afghanistan-Pakistan Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue was held yesterday.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi—the foreign minister of Pakistan while talking to the media person at Noor Khan Airbase in Islamabad termed this trilateral forum as a very important one.
He said that the significance of this forum would further be increasing with the betterment of the peace and security conditions in Afghanistan as it would be opening doors of economic activity and trade in the region.
The Foreign Minister said that Afghanistan could also take advantage of the multi-billion-dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor and Gwadar port.
He further added peace and development in Afghanistan is vital for the overall regional development.
