38 more agricultural drones will be provided by the Chinese government to Pakistan. The drones will help Pakistan in its fight against desert locust.
Earlier the drones were donated last month by the Chinese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to the Ministry of National Food Security and Research of Pakistan for the prevention of desert locust.
Back in June, a report was published in the China Economic Net (CEN) in which it was revealed that a Chinese company is willing to build an industrial unit in Pakistan. This unit would manufacture drones that will be used to protect crops and control locust.
Du Jixiang, Chief Engineer Beijing Andun Equipment Company Ltd said, “From factory construction, production, assembly, after-sales to personnel training, we can provide a full set of technical support to help Pakistan develop the drone manufacturing industry to quickly respond to various types of disasters.”
To supply aircraft to conduct aerial spray in the locust-affected areas, the government is negotiating with a Chinese aviation industry’s mission.

A renowned agriculturist in Multan said, “It is indeed a piece of great news. China has provided drones to fight locust. It means we will be able to save our crops from locust soon.”
