China has taken the decision of opening a visa office in Peshawar.
China has taken this decision for further strengthening the ties with Pakistan.
While speaking at a press conference on Thursday, the Chinese Ambassador—Yao Jing said that the measure would help in further boosting the economic ties between China and Pakistan.
He said that first, the small economic zone of the CPEC—China Pakistan Economic Corridor in Rashakai would strengthen the trade and cultural relations via joint ventures and the exchange of delegations.
He also said that it would be made operational this year.
While responding to a question about Kashmir, Yao said that China supported the stance of the Prime Minister of Pakistan as it stressed that the unilateral action of changing the status of the Indian Occupied Kashmir will not be acceptable.
The Chinese ambassador also underlined the need for resolving the issue of Kashmir via a peaceful exchange of dialogues.
