China, in another gesture of brotherhood and fraternity, has agreed to set up a hospital in a government university campus of Punjab until the threat of the epidemic coronavirus subsides, as per the reports of local media.
As per the shared details, the governor of Punjab, Chaudhry Sarwar has asked a university of China for the initiative which has been accepted.
The hospital would be made in Lahore whereas the university of China would also be offering the coronavirus masks, test kits, gloves among other medical equipment to Pakistan.
Mr Lee Song, the VC of the University has agreed to show all the support and assistance to Pakistan in these testing times.
A delegation of the Chinese university would be visiting Pakistan in the following week for finalising the pact and for visiting the location of the project.
The VC of the Chinese university also said that the university and the team of the scientists in the faculty would be working in close contact with the scientists of Pakistan against the coronavirus for the faster detection of the virus and for finding all possible cures.
On the other hand, a decision has been taken to keep the educational institutes of Pakistan closed until the 31st of May. These institutions include both public and private institutes.
