China Rolls Out The First Orange Line Metro Train For Lahore

The friendly relations between Pakistan & China are further strengthened. This is due to the fact that the first Orange Line Metro Train for Lahore has undergone production process in Hunan province, China on Monday.

CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive Co Ltd is a Chinese equipment industry that has developed the train. The train has five coaches and they are specifically designed for the Orange Line metro in Lahore which is 25.58 km long.  The temperature of Lahore has been kept in mind as an air saving air-conditioning system has been installed in the train. This would be a blessing in summers.

Not just this but the historical beauty of Lahore has been implemented in its production. The shape of the dome of the Badshahi Mosque and the national flower of Pakistan are combined to form the design and structure of the train.


By July this  train would be handed over to Pakistan. The maximum operational speed is around 80 km/hr. The 26 trains that are left would be delivered by the end of 2017.

Pakistan & China has a long standing friendly relationship. CPEC projects that are going through paperwork and these developmental projects would enhance this and it might also encourage other foreign lands to invest in Pakistan.
