In order to facilitate the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa citizens, China is opening a visa office in Peshawar. The news was announced by the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing during his visit to China Window in Peshawar.
He said that the visa office will improve the economic relations of China and Pakistan.

Furthermore, Jing revealed that the first Small Economic Zone of CPEC in Rashakai will become operational in 2019. This initiative will help in eliminating poverty in Pakistan.
When the Chinese envoy was asked about the Kashmir issue, he said that his country’s stance is clear on Kashmir.
He said, “Kashmir is an international dispute, and any unilateral decision to change its special status is not acceptable.”
He said that it is important to come towards a peaceful solution to the Kashmir dispute. It is essential that Pakistan and India hold discussions to resolve this conflict. He paid a visit to different galleries at the cultural center that includes literature and photo galleries along with CPEC and Pak-China friendship wall.
The ambassador appreciated the friendly attitude that Pakistani people have towards China.
