Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Federal Minister for Science and Technology calls all Pakistani universities as ‘silent spectators’ where Pakistan and every other country of the world are fighting with the global pandemic spread all over the globe.
He questions all universities in Pakistan that where are they now in such a crucial period. There are many other universities in the world which are guiding the government with policy and research papers. But he is upset to see this behavior of the universities existing in Pakistan.

According to his twitter tweet, he is urging all the universities to step up, also he says that the Vice-chancellor should initiate research to help to improve the current situation.
In other universities, researches have been conducted in order to provide a cure for coronavirus and up till now half a million of the population is affected to it but they have succeeded to recover 27,000 lives.
But this is not the case in Pakistan. Here around 1,300 people are infected with this deadly disease and only 11 were able to recover. Even though our country has a number of universities and research centers but instead developing their own, they are looking forward to the western institutions for an infiltrate.
