The Capital Development Authority has begun a formal procedure for regularising the temporary contractual employees in the civic body.
As per the statement issued by the civic body, all the directorates of the CDA were directed to forward a list of vacant positions and posts to the HRD (Human Resources Development) Directorate, as soon as possible.
Once the vacant posts lists are forwarded to the HDR, the official procedure of inducing the non-permanent employees into these vacant spots will start.
The CDA informed that all the departments have been told about this effect.
Yasir Peerzada, CDA—Member Administration while heading the meeting of the regularisation of non-permanent employees said that all departments are asked to submit their respective lists immediately.
He added that the temporary contractual employees need the maximum attention of the policymakers.
One of the members of the CDA said that the basis for the regularisation of such employees has already been set. CDA board has adopted the letter from the Cabinet Secretariat for its implementation. He further added that the process of regularisation should be put into effect without any delays.
The HRD has also released a circular relating this matter asking departments for the submission of their lists in ten days. HDR has also provided the departments with a format for the submission of data for the specific vacant posts, the name of people hired on conditional paid agreements, pay scale grade, daily wages, and projects against the respective positions.
The directorates are also told to give a provincial quota against the vacant posts and certified strength.
