Careem is giving cars on installments to its captains. Careem—the ride hailing service has collaborated with the United Bank Limited to announce plans of providing cars to its captains on different financing conditions.

UBL is among the leading commercial banks of the country, while Careem enjoys the status of being the top ride-providing service. This initiation is a part of the Prime Minister Youth Business Loan Scheme of State Bank of Pakistan.

Like any other financial scheme, the drivers wold be able to get the cars on easy instalments extended over a few years’ time. This project would not just help people in increasing their assets, also would provide them a chance to start receiving a regular income from being a Careem driver as well.

The Transaction Head of Banking UBL—Sahir Ali said that the market offers a chance for the technology equipped firms like UBL and Careem for making creative solutions that provide the best value to its captains and eventually to the ease of regular commuters in Pakistan.

Salahuddin Ghazanvi—the Director Fleet Ventures of Careem said that the firm’s aim is to make ten million jobs by the end of 2020. This collaboration would bring us closer to acquiring that mission and would assist in being of service to the community. He added that they are super happy with the car loan scheme as by this they could help many captains.
