Careem and Jazz have joined hands to introduce the SIM Card Delivery Service in order to explore the new channels of distribution.
Jazz has gotten into a deal with the ride-hailing service, Careem for directly delivering the Jazz SIM cards to the new users.
The two companies would at first be offering the service on a trial basis. The service would first be started in the capital city—Islamabad.
Asif Aziz—the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Jazz announced about this development in a Twitter post. The post read that Jazz is moving on to the new means of distribution. It further mentioned that it has made an agreement with Careem for delivering @jazzpk SIM cards.
This indeed is a major development for the ride-hailing service. It indicates the coming of a completely new pasture for Careem’s delivery services and its B2B operations.
Additionally, it is in the news that Careem is looking for expanding its e-wallet services. It has the plans of acquiring the wallet license not just for managing the credits but also for assisting the customers with their utility bills and other payments.
According to the reports, such a development is anticipated to materialize in the months to come. It is pertinent to mention that this is not the first time that Careem and Jazz have partnered on something. Previously, they collaborated to offer promotions and discount offers to their customers.
