Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has won hearts even before the start of the World Cup 2019. Sarfaraz Ahmed has stood out wearing Pakistan’s national dress while meeting the Queen.
The Captains of all the teams met with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex ahead of the opening party of the World Cup 2019 at The Mall, in front of Buckingham Palace in central London.
All the other skippers are seen wearing three-piece suits, tie but Pakistani Capitan has not joined the bandwagon, he stood out representing Pakistani culture in a white shalwar kameez with a dark green blazer. He wore the team’s official jacket.
He deserves massive respect for demonstrating Pakistani culture in Buckingham Palace, England.
Here is what Twitteratis have to say about Sarfaraz Ahmed’s attire.

“Sarfraz showed a sense of rare pride and quiet dignity wearing our national dress at such a prestigious occasion. Very commendable. One has seen people popping out of their skins at far lesser occasions. Sarfraz has mettle.”
” Well done Sarfraz for having the courage to wear your national dress. It is pretty obvious most others are still suffering from the colonial hangover!”
