Earlier today, the Civil Aviation Authority imposed strict measures in all the airports of the country in order to control the spread of COVID-19.
According to the reports, only one visitor will be allowed at the Quetta International, Bacha Khan, and Karachi airport. Also, the visitors coming to receive their guests at the airport are asked to wait in their own vehicles.
Moreover, CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) directed to wear face masks on the airport premises as they have been made compulsory at the airports now.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on October 15th imposed a fine on an international airline for violating the coronavirus SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure).
The Aviation charged a fine of Rs.100, 000 on Qatar Airways for violating the prescribed SOPs by the airport authority. CAA laid out the SOPs in order to allow the resumption of flight operations between the countries that were earlier suspended in the wake of the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has directed the police to install 10,000 CCTV cameras all over Karachi including the red zone areas where the criminal activities take place more often.
