After the video of many passengers coming out of the luggage conveyor belt of the Bacha Khan International Airport, Peshawar went viral the Civil Aviation Authority—CAA has imposed a bar on the use of mobile phones by the Peshawar Airport employees during the duty hours, as per the reports of local media.
The verdict came after a video was aired of the passenger coming out of the luggage vent’s conveyor belt at the Peshawar Airport along with the luggage.
As per the released notification by the aviation authority, the Bacha Khan International Airport employees would not be allowed to use their cell phones during the duty hours.

The notification reads that all the addresses are hereby briefed that the use of cellular devices in the prohibited areas that is Apron and Lounges etc is strictly barred.
The notification further read that any non-abidance of the directives may result in the confiscation of the Airport Entry Pass and the matter would be taken up to the higher authorities of the related departments.
The CEO of the Civil Aviation Authority has told all the officials and the managers of the airport about this matter.
Previously on the 5th of September, the CAA on Wednesday declared a bar on the eating of Gutka, Pan and Naswar at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
The notification further read that strict action would be taken against the employees who would be found guilty.
