Syed Nasir Hussain Shah Sindh Minister for Information, Housing and Planning, Local government, forest and wildlife, Religious Affairs said that all those business activities which were earlier decided to open up as per the decision made by the NCC (National Coordination Committee) can start their operations from Monday onwards.
All these business activities will be allowed only under specific guidelines and SOP’s (Standard operating procedures).
The news was released on Saturday which said that those people who will not follow the SOP’s and the guidelines provided by the government will not be allowed to continue their business operations.
Nasir Shah said that until and unless the virus completely vanishes from the country or its vaccine gets developed nobody can adopt a normal lifestyle neither can do their businesses the way they were operated in the past.
The NCC has not yet permitted to open big markets or shopping malls but the Sindh government will talk to the federal government and the other provinces regarding this matter.
Although while making this decision the Sindh government was bound by the apex court in which the Supreme Court asked all the provinces to follow a uniform policy to stop the spread of the deadly virus.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah also said that a meeting took place between the Sindh government and the business leaders’ organization, where about 100 businessmen took part and discussed their problems.
In this meeting, all the leaders of the business community were assured that those businesses which were allowed by the NCC to open can operate their businesses from Monday.
