Budget 2017-18: Rs626 Million Allocated For 39 Development Projects In DG Khan

In the budget 2017-18, Rs626 million has been allocated for 39 development projects in Dera Ghazi Khan.

For 29 projects already going on in DGK Rs556 million is allocated

For 10 new projects Rs70 million has been allocated

Police stations:

·        In Taunsa, Dajil, Jatoi and Sanawan sub districts four new police stations are to be established

·        Establishment of police stations at Kot Chatta, Jampur, Muhammadpur, Bangla Acha, Shehar Sultan and Rojhan for improving competence of Border Military Police

·        Funds kept for restoration of 14 existing police stations

Checkposts: In Kacha area in Dera Ghazi Khan, checkposts would be made

Libraries: In Layyah District two public libraries would be established

Renovation: Buildings of Counter Terrorism Department in Layyah and Dera Ghazi Khan would be renovated

Other than this money would be invested on restoration of family guardian courts, judicial complex in Kot Addu and land record centres in Rojhan and Rajanpur.

Rs1.56 billion were allocated for projects in water, gas, electricity, social and municipal infrastructure sectors as per Dera Ghazi Khan Commissioner Muhammad Yasrib.

Rs1.56 billion were provided with the aid of federal and the provincial government.
