The British Royal couple, Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton would be meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Arif Alvi on the 15th of October, as per the reports of local media.
According to the schedule announced by the Foreign Office, the Royal couple would be reaching Pakistan on the 14th of October.
After meeting the PM and President Alvi, William and Kate would then be traveling to Lahore on the 6th of October, a day after (that is on the 17th of October) to Chitral.
They would be spending time understanding the complex security picture in Pakistan and learn more regarding the challenges and opportunities, both of today and of the past.
The United Kingdom has been a significant player for Pakistan, and The Duke and the Duchess would be meeting the military personnel of the UK and Pakistan who are sharing the knowledge and skills for improving security.
The Royal couple after completing their trip would be returning to Britain on the 18th of October.
It would be the first royal visit to Pakistan in a span of 13 years. The last visit was paid by Charles, the Prince of Wales, and Camilla—the Duchess of Cornwall, they spent 5 days in Pakistan back in the year 2006.
