British Airways would be starting the flight operations between London and Islamabad from next week, as per a statement issued by the firm. The final touches are being made to the airline that is returning to Pakistan after a decade. The first flight is scheduled to be on the 2nd of June.
The 3-per-week services is operated on a 3-class Boeing 787 Dreamliner with World Traveller—long-haul economy, Club World—long-haul business class and World Traveller Plus—long-haul premium economy available.
British Airways 787 is the most recent long-haul aircraft that is 20percent more fuel efficient than any other aircraft and has got larger windows. The plane is also provided with features like mood lighting and the most recent inflight entertainment system.
The aircraft has got lower cabin pressure which means that the customers feel fresh when they step off the plane after the flight.
The customers travelling via the airline expect the best services for enhancing the onboard experience which includes options for halal meat in every cabin. The airline also ensures that the sauces used in the meal better not contain pork or alcohol.
Customers could also pre-order a range of special meal varieties which includes vegan options.
The long-haul flights of British Airways include nice hand baggage allowance—that includes one large cabin bag with a small laptop bag. There is complimentary food and drink on the flight, online check-in and free seat selection 24 hours before departure.
The return flight fares between London and Islamabad starts from £448 in World Traveller, £1,449 in Club World and £709 in World Traveller Plus.
