British Airways has started direct flights to Lahore again. The flights were resumed on Monday.
As per the available details, the first flight of the British Airways carrying two hundred and fourteen passengers on board left for Lahore from the Heathrow Airport.
The flight BA-259 of the British Airways landed at the Allama Iqbal International Airport at 5:40 a.m. today. The high officials, the British diplomatic staff, and the airport manager would be welcoming the passengers at the Lahore airport.

The airport of Lahore was decorated with balloons, welcome banners, and buntings, as per the sources. They further added that a cake cutting ceremony would be held at the CIP lounge when the first flight of the British Airways would be landing.
Previously on the 10th of October, the Aviation Authority had granted the permit to the airways to run direct flights from Lahore, Pakistan to London, Heathrow.
As per a notification, the CAA had given permission to the British Airways to land at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
