British Airways is restarting flight operations in Pakistan after almost a decade. The announcement has been made by British Airways during a press conference. In the press conference, the announcement was made by an airline official. The Advisor to PM for Commerce, Textile, Industry andProduction, and Investment of Pakistan Abdul Razak Dawood and Special Assistantto PM Zulfi Bukhari were also present when the announcement was made.
The flight operations will be resumed by the British national carrier, British Airways from June 2019 in Pakistan.
The airline will run flight operations from London to Islamabad from next year. So almost after a decade one of the leading airlineswill be back in Pakistan.
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew tweeted, “British Airways returns to Pakistan. Direct flights from London Heathrow to Islamabad’s new airport start in June. A further boost to links between the UK and Pakistan- especially on trade and investment.”
Govt of Pakistan tweeted, “British Airways has announced to launch its flight operation in #Pakistan soon.”
