Earlier today, British Airways declared that it has decided to suspend direct flights from Lahore in April 2021.
According to the reports, the decision came out through a Twitter post which read that we have made a number of changes to our summer schedule, and flights to Lahore will terminate in April.
Moreover, the airline further stated that it will update its website if there is any further change in the schedule.
Earlier, British Airways had restarted flight operations to Pakistan in June 2019 after a decade-long break. After being ceased again due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, the operations had been restarted in August 2019.
It had started 4 flights a week between Lahore and London on 14th October last year (2020), and at present operating direct flights to Lahore and Islamabad.
On the other hand, British Airways also runs daily flights from Islamabad to connect friends, families, and businesses.
