Breaking News: Libyan Rebels Take Control of Tripoli International Airport, Report

The Libya Hurra radio station in Misurata announced early morning Saturday, that the Libyan rebels in Tripoli have taken control of Tripoli International Airport and that a large group of them were moving on to take control of the government TV and radio stations in downtown Tripoli.

The radio station reported that more than ten thousand rebels from Tripoli and other parts of the country were taking part in the uprising in Tripoli.

There are also reports that Abdullah Sanussi, Al Qathafi’s right-hand man and close aide, has been hit in a NATO strike this night. There is no independent confirmation of these reports.
