According to the Pakistan Railways authorities, the bookings for the special trains for Eid have been started across Pakistan.
“The passengers can book their tickets through an online booking portal or by visiting the Pakistan Railways’ reservation offices,” the spokesperson said.
Earlier, Pakistan Railways announced to operate five Eid special trains to facilitate the passengers on the holy occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to the schedule of the special trains, the first train will depart on June 2 from Karachi Railway Station at 10:45 AM to Peshawar. The second train will depart from Quetta to Rawalpindi on June 2 at 11:30 AM.
As per the details, the third special train will depart from Karachi on June 3 at 11:00AM for Lahore and the fourth special train will depart from Punjab’s Rawalpindi on June 8 for Quetta. The fifth and the last train will depart on June 8 from Punjab’s capital Lahore at 6PM for Sindh’s Karachi.
The Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad announced a 50 percent discount for the passengers in the fares of the special trains for Eid.
