The rumors are circulating on the media that Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan will be contesting the general election of 2019 in India for the seat of Lok Sabha.
Yogendra Singh Chauhan wrote a letter to the president of the Indian political party Congress, Rahul Gandhi suggested that the Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan would be a most suitable candidate to defeat the candidate nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the seat of Bhopal.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has the advantage of being the daughter-in-law of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, a former Indian cricketer, who had contested the general election for the seat of Lok Sabha from Bhopal back in 1991 but had lost.
Apart from being the daughter-in-law of former Indian cricket, she commands a huge fan following among the youth of India due to her Bollywood career.
But the question occurred that is the Bollywood star ready to join the politics of the country?
In reference to these rumors, Indian actress issue a statement: “There is no truth to these reports. I have not been approached for this whatsoever. My focus is and only will be movies,” Kareena Kapoor Khan said in a statement.
