Bilal Ashraf, the Janaan star, is also a fan of the Turkish soap Dirilis: Ertugrul. He took it to Twitter to share that he is a fan of the drama because of the great story the drama has and its awesome production.
He said that he was glad that the show was introduced to the Pakistani audience through Pakistan Television (PTV). Bilal Ashraf further said that the film/drama is a form of art and needs to be lauded irrespective of the place where it was made or produced.
On the request of PM Khan, the Turkish soap that revolves around the life of the Muslim warrior, has been broadcasting on PTV on a per-day basis ever since the holy month has commenced. The drama comprises 179 episodes and its original title is Dirilis: Ertugrul. The drama has been dubbed in Urdu.
As per the PM, watching the show will make the youth learn about the history of Islam and ethics. Previously, Senator Faisal Javed Khan shared that the PM was interested in broadcasting Yunus Emre in Pakistan as well. The show is about the story of an Islamic poet and mystic.
Unlike Bilal, Shaan the actor and director is not a huge fan of the Turkish soap. He expressed his opinion on Twitter and said that Pakistan should focus on the local heroes like Jinnah and Mohammad Bin Qasim.
