“Behr Masah” – Pakistan Navy Gets Survey Ship to Search Natural Reserves under Seawater

The latest ship “Behr Masah” is to be commissioned in the fleet of Pakistan Navy. Pakistan Navy’s new ship Behr Masah is a survey ship that will be able to search natural reserves under seawater.

The official commissioning ceremony of the ship took place at Karachi. Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that as Behr Masah has been inducted into the naval fleet, naval research and sailing capacity of Pak Navy has reached new heights.

This survey ship is built by China’s Dajin Shipyard. It will help to boost the functional capabilities of the Pak Navy.

The ship will play an essential role to explore the untapped natural reserves of Pakistan’s maritime boundaries.

The staff of Dajin Shipyard was appreciated by Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi for delivering a quality product on time. “Behr Masah” is a display of the deep-rooted Sino-Pak relations. Furthermore, Admiral Abbasi said that Pakistan is able to help its military allies in the hydrography field.

Pakistan and China have been collaborating on multiple projects under the multi-billion dollar China Pakistan Economic Corridor. These projects will boost the economy of Pakistan and strengthen the relations between the two.
