Imran Khan—the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Monday shared more details about the idea of launching an English channel to counter the Islamophobia.
PM shared a picture of his meeting with the President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mahathir Mohamad on the sidelines of the recent session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, through a Tweets, said that we have decided to set up a BBC type English language TV Channel to counter the Islamophobia.
In his tweet on Monday morning, PM Khan said that apart from highlighting the issue Muslims are facing, the channel will also fight the Islamophobia.
On September of 26, PM Khan announced on Twitter that PM Mahathir Mohamad, President Erdogan and he (Imran Khan) had a meeting in which they decided that the countries would jointly start and English Language TV Channel dedicated to confronting the challenges posed by Islamophobia.
