Ban on Public Transport in KP Province

A ban will be implemented on all the public transport in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 23rd March, announces the Information Advisor of KPK Ajmal Wazeer.

While chairing a conference in Peshawar he said that the decision has been made for the safety of the public and as a precautionary step towards the outbreak.

As per the government’s decision all the public places, shopping malls, and restaurants will also be closed to avoid the spread of the virus.

In Khyber PK, the number of cases has reached 271, killing three people infected with COVID-19.

Now the Pakistan army has been ordered by General Qamar Jawed Bajwa Chief of Army Staff to step up and help to contain the coronavirus in the country.

All the directives were called upon to join the National Coordination Committee meeting held on 20th March led by PM Khan and COA’s meeting with Imran Khan, said ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations).

The COA’s said that the basis is to protect oneself for the community. Whatever precautions we are taking, every single step counts. It is important to be a responsible citizen at an individual level and side by side to help others for safety collectively. It is the responsibility of every citizen to follow each and every guideline the government is providing and make the struggle result in success. A determined and responsible nation can never be defeated by anyone or anything. The Pakistani army is also making efforts to control the spread as quickly as possible. Efforts are being done, a little cooperation is required.
