Following the announcements of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government of Balochistan has also announced about resuming public transport from Monday.
As per the relevant authorities, the SOPs to be abided on will be decided by the transporters, commissioners, and the Regional Transport Authority of the province.
The decision has been taken after PM Khan asked the provinces to resume the public transport for facilitating the less-privileged segments of the society.
A smart lockdown has been put throughout the province of Balochistan for controlling the spread of the coronavirus. In Quetta, twenty-seven people were apprehended and eighty-one shops were sealed as they were found violating Section 144. A challan was also charged from seventy-two automobiles.
As per the spokesperson of government Liaquat Shahwani, in Balochistan so far 2,5 people have been affected by the virus and it has taken the lives of 36 people.
On the other hand, Pakistan has taken the decision and has announced to open the cross border crossings with Afghanistan in order to facilitate the trade activities.
