The government of Balochistan has taken the decision to install tracker-systems in the passenger coaches traveling between Karachi and Quetta and vice versa.
As per reports, in a meeting led by the CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan, the decision was taken that a meeting would be called with the owners of the coaches. The tracking system would be monitoring the speed of the coaches and would be saving their data on a specialized system.
The CM also directed the motorway police to be positioned on all the routes that are leading in and out of the province. For the said purpose, letters have been sent to the federal secretary and the National Highway Authority chairman.
Khan said that under the green bus project, 6 big and 4 small buses would be launched in Quetta.
He also said that an organized transportation system would assist in improving the traffic situation in the province and would make the inter-province and inter-city travel easier for the people.
