The government of Balochistan has suspended the biometric attendance in the government departments for a month, in mid of the coronavirus outbreak, as per the reports of local media.
The decision was taken by the CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan during a high-level meeting for reviewing the strategy to deal with the deadly virus.
The meeting attendees were the IG Police, chief secretary and other related officials. The meeting was informed about setting up isolation wards in Gwadar, Chaman and Dalbadin.
The meeting has taken the decision to take strict steps for screening at Gwadar, Turbat airports while the pilgrims would be shifted to their respective provinces from Taftan.
On the occasion, the CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan has asked the concerned authorities to make sure the funds are provided to fight the threat of coronavirus.
Previously, the 12-year old boy was diagnosed with the coronavirus at a hospital in Quetta. The total number of cases in the nation has increased to 19.
