Balochistan Govt decides three-month closure of educational institutions

It has been decided by the Balochistan government to close all the  educational institutions from Dec 1st. There will be a 3-month closure in all the cold areas of the province.

According to the report, it was stated by the Balochistan Education Minister Yar Mohammad Rind in a statement that the educational institutions will remain closed for 3 months in the cold areas. The exams will be conducted before the start of vacations.

Due to precautionary measures against the novel COVID-19, the Gilgit-Baltistan government earlier made the decision to keep all the educational institutions closed from 17th November to 23rd November across the province.

It was revealed by the Gilgit-Baltistan director schools that many of the educational institutions were used as polling stations and many people visited schools during the earlier elections in the province.

He stated that the government took the decision to disinfect the educational institutions.

In order to avoid the spread of COVID-19, all precautionary measures will be taken by using disinfection, using sprays, as revealed by the education officer.
