Balochistan Education Minister to Hire 1,200 Teachers on Merit

Earlier today, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind Balochistan Education Minister announced to appoint 1,200 teachers on merit.

While addressing an event for students who secured top positions in the annual matriculation examinations, the Education Minister said that the appointment of 1,200 teachers will solve the employment problem of schools all over Balochistan.

He further added that we had been facing a serious shortage of teachers in government schools for a long time. Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind added that all appointments will be well-appointed on merit and only educated and qualified candidates will be appointed on the unoccupied positions.

As per the reports, the provincial government is committed to appointing qualified teachers on merit.

Moreover, Balochistan Education Minister distributed cheques of around Rs.2 million among 63 students who secured flying colors. He also awarded the students with shields and certificates apart from appreciating the scholarship program.
