A new travel advisory has been issued by the aviation authority of the country on Sunday for the passengers amid the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
According to the details, the travel advisory was issued by the airport department of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and will remain effective until 31 August.

As per the highlights of the advisory, the authorities have decided to impose a complete ban on the provision of food to the passengers on a flight of less than two and a half hours duration.
Before the boarding process started, the planes should be disinfected while the planes returning from an international flight will also have to undergo a similar disinfection process to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The arrangements of the domestic flights will be validated by the airline and officials of the aviation department.
All planes should have personal protective equipment (PPE), hand gloves, face masks, and other necessary items required to safeguard passengers from the deadly virus that infected millions of people around the globe.
On the other hand, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has also directed to ensure a one-seat gap between the passengers, wherever the possible while no one during the flight will be allowed to change a seat or gather a crowd.
It would be compulsory for passengers to wear face masks and implement social distancing. The authority directed that the airline should make the arrangements to check the temperature of passengers every one and a half hours.
If any passenger suffering from cough or fever symptoms, his/her travel would only be allowed after a recommendation from the officials of the health department.
