It has been reported that as many as six officers of the revenue department of the Sindh government have been suspended with immediate effects on Sunday.
According to the details, the six government employees were suspended after a picture came on the surface in which they can be seen taking a selfie with a patient affected with the novel coronavirus.
A notification has been issued by the deputy commissioner Khairpur stated that six officers of the Sindh government’s revenue department were suspended for taking a picture with the coronavirus patient. It is pertinent to mention here that the patient had recently returned from the neighboring country Iran.
The deputy commissioner of Khairpur, through the notification, directed the relevant authorities to quarantine the six government employees for 14 days as a safety precaution against the spread of the virus.
On the other hand, a Central Control Cell has been established by the PPP-led provincial government of Sindh with regard to the lockdown in the province to prevent the further spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
