The leading bike producing and selling the brand in Pakistan, Atlas Honda has raised its bike prices for June 2019. The reason for increasing its bike rates has not been given by the company.
A local bike dealer Syed Hamza said that the rates were increased by Atlas Honda due to the rupee depreciation against the dollar and the uncertainty in the economic environment of Pakistan.
The new prices come in effect from June 1st, 2019. The previous prices of the bikes Honda CD-70, Honda CD Dream, Honda Pridor, Honda CG125, Honda CG125S, Honda CG125S Special Edition, Honda CB125F, Honda CB125F Special Edition, and Honda CB150F were PKR 70,900, PKR 74,900, PKR 96,900, PKR 117,500, PKR 136,500, PKR 137,900, PKR 161,500, PKR 163,500, and PKR 193,900 respectively.

On year on year basis and MoM basis, the bike market sales are down by 13%. In April 2019, Honda Pakistan has sold 105,013 bike units while in the same period in 2018, Honda shipped 115,161 units. This indicates that the sales have gone down by 9%.
