Atif Aslam Receives a Tax Notice worth Rs.58 million from FBR

Earlier today, news came out that well-known Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has been issued with a tax notice by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) worth Rs.58 million. It has been revealed that after auditing the singer’s 2018 income, the FBR has allegedly sent him 58 million tax notices.

As per the shared details, the Tu Janay Na singer Atif Aslam has been a month’s postponement to pay the subscriptions. It is being heard that if the singer fails to submit the tax within this month, all his bank accounts will be frozen and the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) will then recover the tax from all his frozen accounts.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that an artist has come on the radar of FBR. Previously, in October 2020, the FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) tossed an inquiry into Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s bases of income.
