Athar Shah Khan, the famous writer, and poet has passed away in Karachi on Sunday. He was of 77 years in age.
He was under treatment at a local hospital of the provincial capital of Sindh after he went through a stroke.
He is also known as Jaidi, and began his career as a writer at the Radio Pakistan and has written 700 plays in the span of 20 years.
He is also the writer of the iconic hit, Jedi Ke Sang. His performance in Intezar Farmaiye is another commendable one that cannot be forgotten.
His other famous drama serials during the 1970s and 1990s include Ba Adab ba Mulahiza hoshiyar, Lakhon main teen, and Haye Jaidi.
He had been awarded Pride of Performance by the Government of Pakistan for his services.
He has 4 sons.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court has also issued notices on Tuesday for the district and provincial governments on a petition asking the establishment to have separate graveyards for the people who are dying because of COVID-19.
