A centralized platform has been launched by the Punjab government where all the vacancies under the government will be advertised. Thus, candidates can apply for various jobs online.
Named “Punjab Jobs Online,” the job portal has been developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).
According to the details, after signing up on the platform, applicants can search and apply for jobs at 452 departments in all districts of the province.
PITB has also shared a short tutorial of the Punjab Jobs Online portal which explains the registration and application processes for the candidates.
Punjab Jobs Online is part of the bigger Digital Pakistan program launched last year in December by Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Last month, the federal government had also launched a national job portal under the Digital Pakistan initiative to enable the unemployed individuals to find jobs in public and private sectors all over the country.
The National Jobs Portal has been developed by the National Information and Technology Board (NITB). All federal departments are required to advertise the job openings on the dedicated platform.
