Apple Released iPhone Movie Directed By Michel Gondry—Director of “Eternal Sunshine”

Michel Gondry made a movie for Apple, 11 minutes short film on an iPhone which features a family vacation had a little disaster.

Apple United Kingdom has released and posted this short movie on their YouTube channel, the movie is all shot on an iPhone by Michel Gondry, director of “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” released in 2004. A science fiction/drama film made it to 8.3/10 rating on IMDb and 93% of Rotten Tomatoes. The film got several awards totaling to 9 in 2004-05.

Now Michel Gondry has shoot the movie using iPhone as a main camera, let me give you a little spoiler;

The story begins with loading up the Van to get to the coast by a family, the family is fun loving and humorous, Parents had two daughters in their Van, singing and chanting all along the journey. Younger girl’s tricycle falls off the van.

Then tricycle finds it really hard to make the way to reunite with the family, it looks like the tricycle is powered with an artificial intelligence AI.

What happens next is still to watch…


Apple, iPhone can charge you up to make movies like that, with new iPhone 8 it might become more handy to make quality videos on it.

However, Apple added some behind-the-scenes footage in this video, the company is also offering master classes to unveil some of the techniques Gondry used to make this video look like a perfect movie.
