Apple News coming to Canada with iOS 12.2 update

Apple has just released its iOS 12.2 developer beta version today, it has been said Apple has made roughly 30 plus feature changes in the new iOS including Apple News expansion to Canada which was initially launched for US, UK and Australia.

Apple News in Canada will support both languages English and French in Canada; readers will have bilingual experience when they follow a channel with second language.

According to Apple iOS 12.2 beta release notes, “Apple News will be available in Canada with iOS 12.2, and is now available for Canadian users on the developer beta. Apple News in Canada supports both English and French. Readers can access a bilingual experience when they follow a channel in a second language.

Note: Publications in the beta do not reflect all content that will be available. Top Stories and Digests are not updated as frequently as they will be in the shipping product.”Despite this change in News expansion to Canada, Apple News is still limited to four countries including US, UK, Canada and Australia, whereas Google News is all over the world, Apple may have plans to expand news features to other countries in future but Apple is currently struggling with its iPhone sales, and you may not see the feature rolling out globally any time soon.
