Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and her husband Virat Kohli the famous cricketer has been given a legal notice by a man, who was insulted by the celebrity couple on social media.
Arhan Singh—the man was found by Anushka throwing a plastic wrapper from his car’s window last week. The actress on this called him out for littering from her neighbouring car and her husband uploaded a video of their exchange on social media. The video went viral on social media.
Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma pic.twitter.com/p8flrmcnba

Arhan Singh responded to this initially by posting on Instagram, in which he criticised the duo and said that the garbage was mistakenly thrown out of the window of his luxury car and was way less than the garbage that comes out of the duo’s mouth. He further referred to the mind of the famous cricketer a trash for shooting and posting the video online. He called this act a serious trash.
As per a statement of Singh his legal advisors have sent Anushka and Virat a notice and that he would make no further comments as now the ball is in their court.
Following the legal procedures, Singh said that he is waiting for the couple’s response.
Soon after his post, his mother—Gittanjali Elizabeth, posted a screenshot from the video posted by Virat Kohli and bashed out at the duo for breaking the basic rights to privacy.
Anushka Sharma is the ambassador of the Clean India Mission of the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many people are unsure by the way the actress handled the incident. She has been bashed for being “rude”, “arrogant”, and “impolite”.
A Congress leader—Sanjay Jha jumped into the controversy and tweeted his say on the matter.
Celebrities don’t need to promote themselves when supposedly attempting a good thing. How much publicity do you want, guys? “ Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli served legal notice by man scolded in littering video https://t.co/lrjzsRXgWX via @htTweets
